A KEY QUESTION
Keep the terms with your treatment plan and any written clarification.
Who is making the promise?
Look for the full organisation name, contact details and dated terms. A practice, laboratory and component manufacturer may make different promises. Similar branding does not establish who is responsible.
Best Smile Turkey provides a five-year guarantee on treatments over £2,000. For treatments over £2,000, if a problem arises during the five-year guarantee period, corrective treatment is provided free of charge. Flights and hotel accommodation for the guarantee-related return visit are also covered. Keep these confirmed commitments with the named provider and contact details in your written treatment plan.
Which work is covered?
Match the terms to the teeth or components in your plan. An implant body, connector and crown are separate items. Find out which problems are covered and when the period starts.
For staged treatment or a replacement, clarify how the dates work. A guarantee period does not predict the lifespan of a restoration or a complication-free outcome.

Conditions and exclusions
When comparing a written guarantee, ask the provider to explain any conditions it contains. This guide does not add exclusions or maintenance conditions to Best Smile Turkey’s confirmed five-year guarantee on treatments over £2,000.
If reviews or an appliance are required, establish the schedule and costs. Can another dentist provide documented maintenance, or must you return to the provider? Consider whether you can meet those conditions.
What remedy is offered?
Repair, replacement, assessment and refund mean different things. Find out what the document actually offers, who decides coverage and whether an in-person examination is needed. Establish the route if you disagree.
A useful test question is: if the restoration breaks after I return home, what happens next? Get the answer in writing.
Travel and other costs
This flight and hotel cover applies to a return visit for corrective treatment under the guarantee. Check your original treatment quote separately for its travel and accommodation inclusions. UK care, transfers and the booking or reimbursement process need separate written clarification. The GDC recommends asking about remedial treatment and additional travel costs before overseas care.
Do not delay necessary urgent treatment for a guarantee decision. Establish how to notify the provider and retain records if another dentist helps.
Read Best Smile Turkey’s five-year guarantee on treatments over £2,000: cover and arrangements alongside your written treatment plan. Keep the original treatment package and guarantee-related return visit separate.
Keep a dated copy
Save the guarantee, accepted plan, invoices and written answers together. If later terms differ, clarify which version applies.
GDC standards describe expectations for UK dental professionals, including explaining guarantees and exclusions. They do not establish the legal effect of an overseas contract. Get independent advice for a dispute or an unclear term with significant consequences.
