A KEY QUESTION
An unlisted or unpriced item is an unanswered question, not a free inclusion.
At a glance.
| Wording | Ask for | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Implant | Implant, connector and final tooth | Parts may be priced separately |
| Full arch | Jaw, implant count and replacement teeth | One jaw differs from both |
| Premium | Exact material and system | A label does not specify the product |
| All inclusive | Every treatment and travel inclusion | Later trips may cost extra |
| Aftercare | Provider, location and covered work | Repair cover may exclude travel |
General differences to discuss with your dentist. This comparison does not determine which treatment is suitable for you.
Match the treatment
List the teeth or arches, restorations and bridge units. If one dentist proposes extraction and another preservation, understand the clinical reasons first. Mark whether each quote is a preliminary estimate or follows assessment, with its date and version.
Use the treatment-by-treatment quote checklist to check the items to compare for implants, full arches, veneers, crowns and bridges. Mark anything the provider has not confirmed as an unanswered question.
Have two written offers? Use the dental quote comparison worksheet to match quantities, inclusions and unanswered costs. Its arithmetic cannot establish whether the clinical plans are equivalent.
Specify components
Request implant manufacturer and system, connectors, and the design and material of temporary and final restorations. Include quantities, laboratory work, fitting and adjustments. Ask why the components suit your case, how substitutions are agreed and which records you receive.

Price every stage
Include assessment, imaging, preparation, surgery, temporary teeth, final teeth and reviews. Check relevant anaesthesia, sedation, medicines and additional appointments. Ask which findings could add extractions, grafting or other work, how unpriced items are calculated and how revised costs require your agreement.
For an implant quote, use the implant treatment timeline to check which appointments and restoration stages the total covers.
Add each trip
Allow for meals, time away and possible extra nights or changed flights. Ask your insurer about planned-treatment cover. Keep uncertain costs separate from firm totals.
- Flights, baggage and transfers for each trip
- Named hotel, room basis and nights
- Companion charges
Read terms before paying
Confirm currency, quote validity, deposit, payment dates and charges. Ask what is refundable if you cancel, are unsuitable or decline a revised plan. Check travel terms separately.
Identify who invoices and receives payments. Best Smile Turkey is a health-tourism intermediary; the treating dental team provides dental treatment.
Keep revised quotes
Keep both dated versions and the applicable cancellation terms. The revised quote should show:
- Affected teeth or components, clinical reason and alternatives
- New price and payment dates
- Effects on temporary teeth, appointments and travel
Check aftercare responsibilities
Separate routine reviews, complications, repairs and replacement. For each, identify the provider, location, costs and return-travel responsibility. Request the clinical contact, complaints process and warranty duration, exclusions and conditions. Discuss ongoing care with your usual dentist and take time to decide.
Use the dental aftercare and follow-up checklist to record the treating provider’s contact details, review arrangements and responsibilities.
