General differences to discuss with your dentist. This comparison does not determine which treatment is suitable for you.
Specify each jaw
A full-arch restoration replaces a set of teeth using several implants. Ask how many teeth it contains. For both jaws, request separate upper and lower plans and costs; “full smile” does not establish what is included.
Compare what the full-mouth starting estimates include for All-on-4 and All-on-6. The starting estimates include fixed bridges for both arches; confirm materials, treatment stages and any additional costs in your written quote.

Ask why four or six
The dentist assesses bone, oral and general health, smoking and cleaning ability. If recommendations differ, request reasons and consider an independent opinion. You may also encounter the label All-on-8. Eight implants alone do not establish a better plan. Ask for the proposed implant positions, bridge design, cleaning access and reasons for the additional supports.
- Why these implant positions?
- Is grafting needed?
- Which risks apply to my plan?
Review remaining teeth
Extraction is irreversible. Ask for a reason for each tooth’s removal and whether it can be retained. Discuss suitable alternatives: conventional dentures, removable implant-retained dentures, preserving natural teeth or delaying treatment. Compare eating, cleaning and future repairs.
Check what will be fitted
Specify fixed or removable teeth, connection method, and temporary and final materials separately. Ask what must be confirmed before early temporary teeth can be fitted and what happens if they cannot. Include later trips, adjustments and opportunities to discuss appearance.
For a closer look at the stages, read the implant treatment timeline and return-visit checklist.

Plan for problems
Agree who handles a loose, damaged or uncomfortable restoration or an implant that cannot be used. Clarify repair options, costs and travel. Keep component records and written warranty exclusions.
Practise cleaning
Fixed teeth stay in place for home cleaning. Ask for a demonstration beneath the bridge, using suitable floss threaders or interdental brushes. A removable implant-supported denture has a different routine.
Discuss eyesight, hand movement or other cleaning difficulties before choosing the design.
- Which cleaning tools suit my bridge?
- Who provides professional reviews and cleaning?
- Are there charges for professional removal?
Match the quotes
Compare arches, implants, extractions, connectors, temporary and final teeth, and every visit. Mark provisional items. Best Smile Turkey is a health-tourism intermediary; the treating dental team provides treatment. Discuss clinical choices directly with the dentist.
Read how to compare dental quotes to check the scope, materials, exclusions and responsibilities in each written plan.
Put the itemised offers into the dental quote comparison worksheet. Match the same arch or arches and distinguish implants from temporary and final bridges; count a package price only once.
